You have no idea what we are facing.

Today we did WSG (it was extremely fun!), and we met some fully decked-out purple teams. We got HAMMERED! We stood 10vs10, and it was like hitting a brick wall. I have had more even fights fighting 2lvl40's being ganked by 2 lvl?? in STV.

10 guys on TS, with quite some team-PvP experience by now, and we simply got hammered. We killed maybe 3 of them, and whiped, every single fight.

Organization and teamplay can only do so much, the rest has to be equipment.

Equipment I can't see us ever getting. It depends of course on what the new 20-man instance is like, and if the loot is good... If that is not the case, then we must find an MC alliance (will be extremely hard), and then we must sit *6 months* in MC.

I can't see us do that. Many in the guild are fairly casual, try convince them to throw away their life to get epic gear. One thing is for sure: I won't do it.

I haven't given up yet. WSG was immensely fun. The even fights we had was just great (½ the fights app.). I have been greatly underestimating WSG, I must admit.
That leaves me pretty positive for the new 15-man battleground. Though it is very clear that we will not in any way be able to "dominate" it. Maybe over time, if we can get our hands on good equipment, but right now, we have far from the power necessary.

WoW is an INSANELY anti-casual friendly game. And while we talk about purple items from what I fear will be a secondary dungeon to MC/BWL, the big guilds are forging weapons from Ragnaros giving a whopping 80 dps. From the purple stuff we met today, I almost got insta-killed by weapons, that was far inferior to that.
