i cannot even judge on the pvp mechanics (battlegrounds) in this game yet. Just wanted to show you what my approach to mmorpgs is:

ceo = money monkey
devs = ceo’s monkey
ordinary gamers = devs mokey
mrc = monkey herders

in daoc the devs wanted you to real vs realm. In the end the only thing i did in daoc was 8vs8 or 8vs”many” team fight. in wow you can do that, where/how regular i do not know – but i am hell bent on making that happen. like you guys already do with x-roads.

when tg started to run circles around emain – 8vs8 was born, we got into mirc and set up a battleground “emain” and the other pvp groups would come and join us there to fight.

that drew half the game into 8vs8 pvp in emain

....so in that way we beat the ordinary games (newbs), the devs and the ceo

anyway always take a break if playing becomes a chore! burn out syndrome, i can smell it from a mile away =)
