Hi Jack,
I was apprenticed on Kelly machines (and others like the Samson Ranger, ever heard of that Jack?)
From what i can remember the infeed was done by a wheel about 6ins. across with holes in it, when the holes passed over the top of the stack of paper suction through the holes gripped the sheet and pushed it onto the feedboard. Not a bad machine as long as you set it up correctly.
The firm i was at was John Waddington in Stoke Newington, north London.
Any more info Jack give me an email
