You wanted to contact fellow compositors, to swap a few stories, via e-mail. I am 2 years your senior, started running a linotype when I was 12 years old, during WWII, 1944. I have traveled extensively in the U.S., working in most large newspapers and job shops from Chicago to the west coast, and Detroit to Houston over the years. I have a few good stories to tell.
