Dear Dave:
I see by your message you teach a class on the history of printing. I have been doing some research in this area, particularly in newspaper printing in the late 1900's. Can you suggest any books that might be of help to me? I'm particularly interested in what type of printing equipment would have been in use by newspaper editors of smalltown papers in the western states at the turn of the century. I'm mostly ignorant on the subject and need to find out how their equipment would have worked, what it looked like, sounded like etc.
I'd be very appreciative of any help you can give me.
Thank you,
Mary
