I'm guessing the confusion is the comment that some will be run concurrently? It would have been helpful if they had indicated which ones. It is done when the # in the comp is small enough that they don't have time to change their shoes. I think the official rule is at least 10 minutes between dances. I would assume they will not be concurrent unless your dancer's comp - or the one right before or after- are small enough to need it.

This is a great question, especially if your dancer is in the last age group on a champ stage. Why be there at 7:30 if you might not dance until, say, 81 dancers, dancing two at a time, complete all 2 or 3 rounds. You'd be dancing closer to 10:30 or 11 in that case.
