There is a spring clip at the top of each solenoid which determines the overall "throw" of the slug. That adjustment is discussed in the Installation Manual which is available on Mark Fontana's Pianocorder Resources site. A link to that appears just below the title line of this forum. Look for the Documentation subsection.
Using WinAmp and Mark's plug-in, you can make a test tape which will contain several sequences, one of which tests each note in sequence. (Use of the test tape is also covered in the Installation Manual.) If you need further information, I'll try to help.
