Hello.
I have recently aquired a unit which has been sitting idle for some time.
It fires up and tape plays but the fine tune light stays on so am guessing no sync?
I have read through the service manual trouble shooting and have gone through as far as trying the adjustment of the 3/4 bit and range controls but still without any luck.
My question is Are the values of these pots factory set and adjusted on the bench using occilloscope? And any suggestions as to what else i may try in order to trace the fault to the playback board.
My next move is in finding a suitable technician in this country willing to take any repairs on.
I would appreciate your thoughts on this.
Many thanks in advance
Mike
