After you discover the position of the shorted circuit on the driver board, inspect it carefully for any debris - dirt, metal shavings, etc. If any of the boards are dirty, carefully vacuum them off, also use a soft bristle brush to loosen any debris, while holding the vacuum nozzle near, to grab off anything that comes loose.

Carefully inspect the components of the offending circuit, comparing it with the ones on either side, to see if there is anything obviously twisted or bent causing the short.

If you cannot find anything obviously wrong at the site, you will want to remove the board and send it to Bob Baker, for repair,or get a replacement board.
