Date Posted: 05:34:23 12/11/02 Wed In reply to: Michael Hartford 's message, "Power Supply Voltage Conversion" on 13:14:02 12/06/02 Fri The export models have isolation transformers which also take care of the supply voltage differences. I have two units with transformers, one from Japan which has a one to one transformer 115v to 115v.This was obviously made by the manafacturer. The other is an Australian installation, it has a large transformer in a box, as sold here in Aus. to power U.S.A equipment. In both units the isolation afforded by the transformer allows earthing of circuits which on the more common units is 170v above ground. I have rambled a little, it would appear that you need to do nothing more than link the appropiate points on the power supply to get it working on 115v. I strongly advise you to get a look at a circuit. I purchased a manual from Bob Baker which incidently does not show a transformer, regards, Brian Butler.
