Date Posted: 20:11:53 10/27/01 Sat For anyone seeking free Christmas music for their Pianocorder this holiday season, I've found a very nice 60-minute assortment of Christmas songs played by Dereck Barnes (dbac@gulf.net) which was distributed on the Internet as a MIDI file last year. I have converted it to Pianocorder format using tools I've been working on. This is a nice selection of pieces, some slow and atmospheric, some kind of jazzy, and though you can tell it is hand-played and unedited, it is still quite good. You can make your own Pianocorder tape of this performance by downloading this 1 MB ZIP file which contains a 74 MB WAV file. You simply record this WAV file to a cassette tape and play it on the Pianocorder. A README file with instructions is included in the ZIP file. Enjoy!
