Thanks to Roger and Mark. The plugs were loose on the controller board. It's working like a champ now!

Thanks to Jules Coco also for selling the system to me in the first place.

BTW, I had to affix support bars to the solenoid rail because it had been trimmed for a grand piano and the brackets could no longer be attached facing forward.

Once that was done, however, the thing worked great.
