I stumbled on this Forum and am so glad I did! I rebuilt an old upright in the mid-80's and installed a PianoCorder. It worked great until a few years ago. Haven't had time to ddeal with it, so it just went unplayed.
Through the generous contributions of you great people (Mark Fontana in particular) I was able to troubleshoot and get it fixed this past weekend! It was the "record switch corrosion" issue on the cassette player that was the culprit! So we are now up and running and looking forward to the WINAMP conversion also discovered on this site. Many, many thanks to all for your contributions. Reading these issues and answers was a great help!
