A Pianocorder system can be easily separated from the host piano. Just keep in mind that the solenoid rail will be quite heavy and care must be taken when removing it. A piano technician can help you remove the piano action for better access to the Pianocorder mechanism. To be honest, Marantz-branded pianos were not known for their quality and would have a very limited market value these days... somewhere in the $400-600 range.
