You can get a copy via the Pianocorder resources link near the top of this page. First, clean the heads on the cassette deck. You will probably find that an indicator near the "fine tuning" control is ON. Center the fine tuning control. Next, put a recordable cassette in the player, depress the Pause button, and alternately press Record and Stop several times. There is a switch with brass contacts which can corrode over time. If you are lucky, you'll scratch enough of the exidation off to get things working again. Otherwise, you'll have to take the cover off and use contact cleaner. Release the Pause button and see what happens when you try to play it. Another possibility is that the tape itself has deteriorated over time. There's no good fix for that, but you could try to copy the tape onto a new blank cassette using an audio tape recorder. Let us know of your success or failures. We'll see what's next.
