Date Posted: 18:12:35 06/05/01 Tue Great Idea Mark... I continue to be very interested in the Pianocorder system. I have a model P-100 Pianocorder, a P200, and (2) PA-300 Superscan LED Display console. These consoles display the words to the songs that the piano is playing. There are some limited graphics also. I have most of the documentation and schematics for these. You also need the special tapes that were created by Pianocorder to play the piano and display the words.I have the complete set. This feature was made mostly for businesses to Display Information, advertisements,or a Lunch menu when not in use. When the piano started to play, the words were displayed to sing along with (Karaoka 1977). They also produced a promotion tape, made for distributors of Pianocorder. It provided a description of what Pianocoder does, with samples of the available music. It also has some humorous graphics in the display. They also produced a special "Happy Birthday Day" tape and a "Anniversay Waltz" tape (Fancy Arrangement) for Businesses. I do not have the documentation on the Special custom Business Display option. This information was custom done, and burnt into a special EPROM. If anyone has this, I would be very interested. Here are the models of the Pianocorder as I know them: P-100 Kit form Pianocorder P-100M Factory Marantz Reproducting Piano P-101 Kit (playback only) P-101M Play only Factory Marantz P-200 Vorsetzer system (pushup to the keyboard) PR-200 Installed in Piano, and connects to P-200 to record PR-201 Used with P-101 to record, which = P100 & P-100M PA-300 SuperScan(tm)LED Display Console There was also a special Factory Marantz Piano with a LED Display driven by an 8-track tape. This piano had a switch to change to a cassett player for "Happy Birthday Day", and "Anniversary Waltz", Plus the 8-track tapes. [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
