Date Posted: 14:52:52 04/02/02 Tue Several of my QRS tapes have not been played in a long time. When I try to play them, there is a noticeable squeal from the cassette itself; often the friction is such that the tapes will slow and even stop. Of course, sync is lost, then regained, with the result that the player mechanism goes bonkers. I've tried winding and rewinding them on my audio player, but that doesn't help.
