Subject: Grand piano plays too loud.

I have recently installed the wireless Pianocorder system on the grand piano in the lobby of my hotel. It works fine except it is too loud (even with the pianisimo knob turned all the way down as well as the song volume). As it is the lobby of a hotel we would like it to play in the background to produce a pleasant ambiance but the people running the front desk have to be able to answer the phone and make reservations as well as speak to the guests without raising their voices. If there are any ways to physically make the piano quieter (like attaching something to the strings or something that absorbs sound inside the piano) I would like to know about them. Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
