 I was an installer and always installed a fan. I was told that it was not a good design of the system. The solenoid needs a lot of power to activate but then it needs less to sustain. The tapes could have been programed to cut the power after activation.

I'm here because I'm picking up two systems still in box from one of the designers for .....free.
