 I’m surprised your old cassette system has lasted this long. I’ve had mine here in California since 1983 and it’s just plane worn out. Tried working on mine, and it just won’t respond like it used to. Started to research the latest computer generated system that replaces the tape player. Not much help, but you might want to look at updating yours too. Kev.
