Subject: Trammel Alliance revisited .. Author: Ka Null [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: Sat, Dec 01 2001, 11:38pm There has been movement of late as to revamping and giving new life to what used to be called the Trammel Alliance. For those of you that have graced the lands for quite some time you would remember it for sure, for those that havent you missed out big time :p In a nut shell, what it was was a vast majority of roleplay guilds banding together under a banner in an attempt to organise some wars/battles/roleplayed storylines. It was a huge success .. for awile. Politics including nit picking, whinning. blamming, and every other type of childish behaviour grew from a small few to a rampant beast. Thus the end of what was a genius brainchild of a guy named Saryon. For the run of the mill guildmember it was bloody fantastic. GM's organised everything for you, you just turned up and followed the rules .. too easy .. nope ! Anyways it basically died a long and horrible death. Since then there has been no real huge co-operation between a heap of guilds .. there has been a few smaller ones that involed perma warring other guilds but nothing to compare with the old TA. Of late though, there has been a lot of talk amongst the bigger (and smaller) roleplay guilds about starting it up again. Well sorta. It will have the same objective, but without all the bullshit. (cant wait to see that !) Anyways, as a start they are looking for a new name, below is a list of what they seem to be choosing from, if you like post your vote (or a better one !) and I will get it off to those who care . :) The list : The Second Alliance Dark Age of Oceania Guilds of Oceania Oceania Role Players Society Legacy of British Federation of Oceanian Roleplayers Oceania Role Players Association Oceania Role Players Role Players of Oceania Clan of Oceania Arcane Council of Oceania Rising Alliance of Oceania Kindred Roleplayers Risen Roleplayers of Oceania Kingdoms The Crusaders of Britannia Fractured Fairytales Lack of Common Sense I myself like this little ditty I make up myself, Britannia Councils. ... up to you if ya want to do it or not, for now they seem intent of leaving DoD out of it.
