Subject: Boomerang!

This particular song was a b-side to Pride, way back in 1984!

It was a somewhat innovative track for U2 to make - a brooding, melancholic piece, which features mainly
the edge singing, interspersed with Bono's scat vocals - it has become one of my favourite songs!

Anyway, I was reading a book the other day (BP Fallon, forgot the title!) and apparently the edge indicated
that the song was an attempt to incorporate world/reggae music "feel" into the song.

My question is - What the hell is the edge talking about? - the song is the antithesis of world/reggae
music!

Would like feedback into this song - good or bad from anyone!
