Hey, it's not a big deal. I had to get glasses because I couldn't pass my drivers eye exam without them for my life. I was 17. I've had them for a year now, and thier not so bad. I just wear them when I need to wear them (to see the board at school and drive) and then I don't wear them when I don't need to. I got some that looked nice on me, and I get compliments from peole how nice they look. Why can't you get contacts if it's such a big deal? And for the acne, just wash your face everyday with a good cleanser and buy some clearasil. I look like a total dork student in glasses. I'm serious. It's like geek all over again. But it's alright. Hey, the smart people are those that get somewhere in the world anyway. I rather like my glasses now, and you'll probably warm up to them too. I'm near-sighted as well (can't see stuff far away).
