You're only cheering on global warming because where you are, that doesn't result in daytime highs in the mid-90's accompanied by suffocating humidity. This is the kind of weather where it doesn't cool off any when it rains, because all the moisture just gets sucked right back into the air; where your sweat stays all hot and sticky on your skin because there's nowhere else for it to go. It'll be like that here until, oh say, September.

My dad told me once that British embassy workers in D.C. were granted permission to wear tropical clothing by their government because the climate here called for it. I apologize if I have said this before now.

Oh well. At least someone's having good weather. Believe it or not, the sheer happiness of your message still made me smile.
