Watching over sleeping mare, tears slip silently down features, relief of moment, and grief of length of days before all washed together. They had taken away her spirit, and he knew. He coudl see it. Where before was fire, now was nothing. Not even an glowing ember of her former self. Gaze shifts to dark peaks in distance, emotions stirring within soul lighting orbs with rage ocne again. But brief moment fades, and tears are silenced. 'Twould do no good for her to see such. She needed quiet, rest, and time to recover...from whatever they had done.
