*mare whickers to her daughter, urging her closer. "Come, I ask a favor. Please stay and watch over your granddam. The time is near for me to foal..." She smiles slightly, joy mixing with pain. When her daugher stands near she nudges her softly, before looking about for Eternity. She whickers quietly to him, then steps away from her family, towards the edge of the territory. Body lowers to the ground, pain racking her usually slender form.

Sweat breaks out over coat, sides heaving. Anguished cry is pulled from her lips, but the act is soon over. Small foal lies near, and exhausted mare reaches out to clean the warm bundle. Pride fills her eyes, and she wickers gently, nuzzling the little grey colt. Limited Time.*
