Subject: My new friend Flappy

Last night and this morning their was this big storm system. It knocked out 2 baby robins from their nest in my friends front yard. We fround one of the babies torn appart on the sidewalk because the cat across the street gotit. And the other hobled into my freinds Garage.

This morning we found him. He was still strong, making noise and flapping and jumping clumsily around, His eyes were open and a shiney black, he suffered no injuries.

What should we do?

so i named him flapy, put him into a nice little bird cage, where he talked to the mother bird. we alowed them to talk back and forth to see if she would accept her baby after we had touched it. I smashed up abotu 30 worms with a rock and fed the little bird. It was real nice and soft. , around dusk, we let him out of the cage and hop around the grass while we watched from teh garage, the mother birdy came and fed him food, but how would flappy get to his nest again? so i went back and picked flappy up and stuck him on the branch to his nest and he flopped in happily. And so I wrote a little song/poem for Flappy

Flappy Flappy fly away,
Flappy Flappy fly to your home,
Flappy Flappy i doubt ill ever see you again,
Flappy Flappy what a nice little friend.
