I entered Mementos stall, groomed him and led him to the stable yard. There I saddled him and mounted. I walked him to the outdoor arena. I spent the next hour working him on his dressage skills, warming him up by trotting him around in simple figures. I worked him at all gaits, on his transitions, his flying changes and especially his leg yielding. He remained quite attentive throughout the entire lesson. At the end of the work-out, I performed a dressage test with him ,to test him in action. He performed quite well, working enthusiastically but still quite well. He obeyed my every instruction and only misunderstood one instruction of mine. It was a great end to the morning, I then cooled him down, hosed him off and turned him out for the afternoon.
