After 4 months of rehibilitation, I was itching to get on the backs of my horses! I had earned about 3 weeks ago that my husband had not survived the crash, leaving me in a downword spiral, but Julia had pulled me out of it by saying "Momma, Free and the other horses need you, and so do I." She was now 5 and already like a 10 year-old.
"Julia, the horses await!" I hollered up the stairs.
"Coming!" giggled Julia, who had only suffered a minor broken arm. She trotted down stairs and we hopped into the car. (I had got a new one from the people whos fault it was)Colby had slowly came to love me, and little Julia, so he started to trot to the car, but Julia said "Not this time, Colb, go and play with Wrinkle" Colby whimpered once but ran off to play.
