I quickly ran to the stallion barn and swung open the doors-Free whinnied excititedly.
"Hello there, ya big lug!"
"Momma, can I ride Ele?" Julia asked, lugging the saddle into the barn for Free.
"Sure, I need to exersise Spring and her little filly."
Julia smiled and ran to the other barn. I talked to Free as I groomed him "Free, I want to sell all the horses except for you, Spring, and Ele, or which ever pony that Julia chooses, do you think thats exceptable, and then when Julia outgrows ponies, get her a horse, and keep breeding to Spring." Free nickered a little when I hit his ticklish spot, so I got the saddle, and bridle. Then, after saddling him up, I swang aboard and urged him into a trot. We came outside to Julia just mounting up on Ele, and we trotted over to the trail, and rode to the jumping course.
"You wanna try riding Free over some jumps after I ride out the kinks and jump him a little?" I asked Julia.
"Sure, Momma, but I wanna ride Ele for a little while."
