I walked into the feed room and filled a bucket full of fed. I heard Windy kicking impatiently on the wall. I walked into the barn and fed everyone. I hayed them and watered them. Finally, I did stalls. i dusted the cobwebs off the walls with a broom, before sweeping the asile and polishing up the stall plates. Next, I went into the tack room and got out Courage's stuff. I got Courage out and began to groom him. He nickered and playfully tried to nip me. "Hey, stop it." I said. I finished grooming him and tacked him up. I led him out to the ring and mounted him.
I walked him over to the trail that leads to the field. We walked there. Once in the field, I asked him to trot. He was springy, obviously from excitement. I did circles to keep him under control. I trotted him until he seemed tried. Then I asked him to canter. He sounded like an grand prix jumper as he cantered around because he was snorting and stuff like that. I let him canter a bit and then let him walk. I reversed and let him walk a min. Then we cantered the other way. He was good, excited, but good. I brought him back to the trot. I trotted him over to the trail that led home. I made him walk and we walked home. When we got back to the barn I dismounted him and took off his tack. I then led him over to the hose where I gave him a bath. He enjoyed getting all the sweat and muck out of his coat. I then let him graze to dry off some and then put him in his stall to finish his diner. I then got out TC. I groomed him well and then tacked him up. He nickered gently. I led him out to the ring and mounted him. I walked him to the rail. He arched his neck and looked quite hansome. I asked him to trot. He launched into a springy trot. I sank down into my heels and relaxed my body into a sitting trot. I reversed and kept going. We did circles and stuff. I rode him about 15 mins before cooling him off. Like Courage, I gave TC a bath too. He really liked it.
Instead of taking him to his stall though, I led him over to a paddock and turned him out. Instead of rolling he pranced around, showing everyone how hansome he was. I got Flick out and turned him out with TC. Next, I groomed my broodmares. I got Spark out and trained her some. I groomed her. Amy was due Weds. Her foal, Time, was a racing foal to be. I then walked back up to the house.
