"Hi Patriot!" I said to the foal. Amy watched me enter the stall and halter her foal. She came over and made sure that I wasn't hurting him before returning to her dinner. "Come on boy." I said as I gently led him out into the asile. I put him in the crossties for the first time. He wasn't sure what to make off them. I groomed him. He obendently picked up his hooves. Next, I got out my clippers and rubbed them over him. He was good. I then turned them on and let him get used to the sound of them. I turned them off and put them away. I gave him a little piece of a carrot before putting him away. Next, I got out my tack and sat it next to Sparkle's stall. I got out the beautiful grey mare and groomed her. I brushed her tail and mane. I tacked her up and led her out to the ring. I mounted her and walked her to the rail. We walked some before I asked her to trot. She was really smooth. I did a sitting trot easily as we trotted around. I did lots of circles with her. We trotted for awhile before we cantered. She did flying lead changes for me too. I was impressed with how much she remebered after being a broodmare for a while. I gave her a pat and cooled her out. I hosed her off and let her dry some before putting her out into the pasture. Next, I got out Courage.
I groomed him and tacked him up. I led him out to the ring. I mounted him and rode to the rail. He looked around as he walked. I then asked him to trot. He trotted around gracefully. I did some serpintines to limber him up. Next, I cantered him. He was good. I rode him the other way at all three gaits. I gave him a pat and cooled him off. I dismounted him and led him into the barn. I untacked him and hosed him off. I let him dry off before I put him into his stall. I cleaned all of my tack before going up to the house.
