I connected the lunge line to the little foals bridle. I led her into the outdoor arena. She stood still and waited while I set up some trotting poles. I warmed the filly up and pushed her into a trot. She trotted over the foals picking up her feet daintily. Then I made a little 1" crossrail. Iurged the filly into a canter and she headed toward the crossrail with determination. Pride soared over it perfectly. I switched direction and she went over it a couple more times. The I traded the bridle and lunge line for a leadrope and halter. I cooled her out and put her out to pasture. While I was filling the water bucket I kept thinking about what an amazing horse she was. I went back to the barn and mucked out her stall. I filled the haynet and put fresh water in her stall. Then I walked across the aisle and gave Unbelivable and Like The Wind a carrot each. Then I set them both out to pasture for a little while. Half an hour later I grabbed Pride's leadrope and halter from it's hook and brought her in. I groomed her in her stall and gave her a hug. "Goodnight Pride." I called over my shoulder as I walked away to go get the other 2 horses and bring them in.
