...Helen called"do you want to take the trail that goes to the water fall? it has a few jumps on it". "Yeah OK" Dana called back. The whole party headed down the sun dappled trail, Dana & Helen in the front. They talked happily as they headed down the trail. Arianna, Jasmine, Suzie & Jess rode side by side as the trail was very wide. All 4 girls were rather close in age 13, 14, 15 & 16. Alex and Eric were discusing horses and their wives. Jess saw a wide 2'6 log up ahead. She smiled wickedly and the other 3 girls and urged Image into a Canter and then a controled hadn Gallop. She lent forward and soared over the log. "C'mon Suzie! You scared?" Jess said, pretending to be mean to her younger sister. "Watch out! Here I come" Suzie said. Kig thundered forward and jumped the log easily. The other 2 girls followed. Jasmine urged Honor over the log and landed in perfect form. Then Arianna spurred Witch into a canter. The pretty thoroughbred Jumped the log with 3" to spare. "She's a good jumper" Said Jess to Arianna "I was going to buy her, but then I fell for Image instead". "well I'm glad I have her" Arianna replied. the girls took the log one more time each. Then the grown ups decided to have a go...
