I brought in Miss Congeniality from her pasture that she shared with Firefly.I put heri nher roomy box stall and got a grooming tote and my dressage tack.I groomed the pretty bay Holsteiner mare and then went into the bathroom to change into my dressage boots and my white breeches.I tacked up Miss C. and then led her to the outdoor dressage arena.I mounted onto her from the ground at sat deep into the saddle.I squeezed Miss C. with my legs and she walked forward.I walked Miss C. around the arena a few times before asking her to trot.I sat to Miss C.'s bouncy trot and warmed her up at the trot.At the sothwest corner of the arena,I put right leg behind the girth and squeezed her into a canter.Miss C. had a bouncy canter,but I slowed her down a bit and sat to the rolling motion of her canter.I got Miss C. to collect her canter and did some half passes with her.Then,I worked on extending her canter.Next, we did the 1st level dressage test and then I walked her out and dismounted.I led the bay mare back to her stall and untacked her.Then, I gave her a carrot and turned her out in the pasture that she shared with Firefly.Then, I got Calypso out of his paddock and brought him inside the stallions stable.His well shaped hooves clacked on the brick flooring of the stable.I put him in his well bedded stall and walked to the tack room.I got my jumping saddle off of one of the saddle racks and got my bridle off one of the hooks.I walked back to Calypso's stall and set the saddle on the saddle rack attached to his stall.Then,I set Calypso's bridle on a hook outside his stall and walked to a bathroom to change back into my jeans and paddock boots.I walked back to the tack room and got my chaps, gloves and helmet.Then,I got Calypso out of his stall and put him in the crossties in one of the grooming spaces.I quickly groomed Calypso's shiny black coat and then I tacked him up,put on my helmet,zipped up my chaps,slid on my gloves and walked him to the outdoor jumping arena.Then, I lunged the big black stallion and next, I used the mounting block to get on him.I noticed Arianna watching me at the rail.She lately wanted to ride Calypso,but I saw how he bucked when Jasmine rode him and said that she could'nt.Arianna had been watching me jump him ever since then.I waved hello to Arianna and then I pushed my heels down into the stirrups and sat up tall in the saddle.Calypso gave a playful buck,but I sat it out and Calypso settled down once he found out that he would'nt have any sucess ag having fun with his rider and bucking her off.I warmed up Calypso at a walk,trot(bouncy) and a canter.(even bouncier)Then,I aksed Calypso to canter and headed him to the first jump of the course I memorized.Calypso bounded over the 4 foot oxer and tried to hand gallop to the next fence.I slowed him down for the jump and then I let him over the 4'6 fake brick wall.We changed direction and cantered on to a 4'3 high 4'6 wide spread.Calypso practically flew over the spread and made a perfect speed turn when I made him.We leaped over the 4'9 brush box and went on to leap over a 5 foot triple, I slowed down Calypso fot a 4'6 combination and then went on to jump him over a 5'3 vertical,a 5 foot liverpool,a 4'9 gate and a 4 foot rollback.I jumed Calypso over the last jump,a bright blue,lime green and magenta oxer and let him hand gallop to the finish.I did 3 other courses with him and then I walked him out.I saw Arianna over by the rail,she was still watching me and Calypso.I decided that since Calypso had such good ground manners Arianna could untack him,hose him off and turn him out.I told Arianna this and she looked VERY happy.I dismounted from Calypso and handed his reins to Arianna.She led him off to one of the wash stalls and was petting him and telling him what a good boy he was.I smiled to myself and then went to get Milady out of her paddock.I put the pretty Friesian mare to the crossties and then I groomed her and tacked her up.I led Milady to the outdoor jumping arena and lunged her for 15 minutes before mounting up on her.I warmed up Milay at a walk, trot and canter.Then, I cantered her in a courtesy circle.I headed Milady towards the first line of jumps in the hunter course.Milady flew over the green vertical which was the in jump in tha line,and then I cantered her 5 strides and she jumped over the 3'3 green brush box oxer that was the out to the line.Milady kept up a good pace to the next line of jumps and took the tan and wine colored single and oxer with ease.I cantered Milady to the next line of jumps.Milady had never jumped over this line of hunter roll tops before and approached the line cautiously.I squeezed Milady hard and gave her a tap with the crop I was carrying and she jumped over the roll top single.We cantered on to the roll top oxer,but just before the jump,she refused and ran out on the jump even thoguh I was squeezing my left leg against her side with all of my might.I circled Milady and jsut before the jump when she tried to run out again,I whacked her with my crop and she jumped over the roll top oxer.I finsihed the last line of the course and then I cantered Milady in a nother courtesy circle and slowed her down to a walk.Then,I did the course again,and this time Milady didn't shy at the roll top jumps.Then,I did the course in the other direction and then I walked Milady out,untacked her,gave her a apple and turned her out in her paddock.Then,I walked over to one of the mares pastures and got out Satina.I brought Sati(Satina) up to the stable and clipped the crossties to her engraved leather halter.I brushed her satin like bay coat and I tacked her up with my close contact saddle,a running martingale and a snaffle bit bridle.I walked Sati to the outdoor jumping arena nad led her to the mounting block.I climbed the 2 wooden steps of the mounting block,put my foot into one of the stirrups, swung my othe leg over Satina's back,put my foot into the other stirrup and settled into the saddle.I asked Sati to walk and she moved forward off of my leg.I warmed up Sati at a walk,trot and canter.Then,I jumped her over the 3 foot hunter course in both directions,walked her out,untacked her and turned her out in one of the mares pastures.I walked up to the stallions stable and opened the door of Elite Challenge's stall.I clipped a lead rope to Elite's leather halter.I clipped he crossties to his halter and then I groomed his white colored coat.Then,I tacked up the big white/grey Hanovarian stallion, and led him to the indoor arena.I lunged Elite for 20 minutes,and then I led the big stallion over to the mounting block and got on him.I asked the well behaved stallion to walk forward and he walked on.After a couple laps of walking,I asked him to trot and posted to the rythm of the 2-beated gait.I trotted him around the arena a couple of times and then I cued him to canter.I cantered Elite in a circle and then let him canter beside the wall of the arena.I cantered him for a little while,and then I walked, trotted and cantered Elite in the other direction.I let Elite walk for a little while and then I dismounted off of him.I led Elite back to his stall,and then I untacked him.Next,I gave him a big carrot and finally I closed his stall door and walked to the mares barn to get Wynde Dancer ready.I opened the door to Dancer's stall and got her out.I clipped the crossties to her halter and then I groomed her.Next, I got her tacked up and then I led her 2 the indoor arena.I lunged her for 20 minutes and then I got on her and hacked her at all 3 gaits for another 20 minutes.Then,I walked her out,dismounted from her,untacked her,put her back in her stall and gave the pretty Thorughbred mare a carrot before shutting her stall door and walking back up to the house.
