I walked into the barn. I went over to Dutchess's stall.
Flame was asleep on the floor. Dutchess was asleep standing up. I left the 2 alone and went over to Sparkle. She nickered at me gently. I gave her a treat and began to groom her. After I groomed her I tacked her up and lead her out to the ring. I mounted and then opened the gate and
we headed toward a trail that lead to a huge field. when we got to the field I asked Sparkle to trot. She did the transition well, moving up easily to the trot. We troted around the huge field once or twice and then we walked to catch our breath. After that was done we began to canter.
I did a flying lead change across the middle to change directions. We walked and then walk back to the barn. When we arrived i untacked Sparkle and lead her out for some grass. she ate for about 10 min and then I took her in to her stall. I then went over to Courage and groomed him. I tacked hi up and lead him out to the ring. I lunged him in both directions, only letting him trot and canter when I wanted him to. I then mounted him and we walked over to the rail. After a few min. I asked for the trot. He picked up a nice bouncy trot. "Good boy!" I told him. We trotted each direction and did transitions from a walk to a trot and trot to halt ect ect. Then we caught our breath and picked up the canter. i sat up in the saddle prepared for an explosion beneath me. The explosion never came. Instead, a nice steady canter was picked up. "Wow! Awsome!" I told Courage. We cantered each direction. The second time to canter was just as smooth as the first one. I then cooled him out and untacked him. I let him have some grass for about 10 min before I put him away. I then went back to Dutchess's stall. Both Flame and her were awake. i groomed Dutchess and then took the soft brush over Flame. He was still a little nervous about it but stood there anyway.
I gave Dutchess a treat and Flame a kiss on the nose. i said Goodbye to my horses and went home.
