I walked down to the barns where the horses greated me. I walked over to Halo's stall. "We have not worked on your dressage for a long time" i said to her, "we can run though the level 4 dressage test now". I tacked Halo up and asked Amanda ,who was watching, to fetch the test off the desk in the study. While I waited i took Halo into the dressage arena and warmed her up. Once Amanda got back i learnt the test and ran though it. Halo made quite a few mistakes at the begining because she has not done dressage for a while but by the end of the 5th try she was doing it perfectly. I gave her a long rein and a realy big pat and let Amanda walk her off. While we untacked and turned out i had a chat with Amanda about how her dressage test was going. She told me that her and Livin'wild were doing great and they could now do it without making any miskakes. I told her that i would like to see it later so Amanda went off to tack livin'wild up (see kids riding board). I went and fetched Baby groomed her and tacked her up. Saddle had suggested starting her jumping training soon so i fetched the jumping saddle. I lunged her with the jumping saddle for a while then i took her into the jumping school and mounted. Staci and Jamie came in with Kimmy and clara and helped put some jumps up. They were on the lowest hole to start with. I warmed Baby up then took her in a straght line to the first jump. With lots of encoragement i got Baby to trot over it. I went over it a few more times then put it up so baby would have to jump it propaly i troted her up to it but no matter how much encoragement i gave her as soon as she got to the jump she would stop. (Saddle help me what shall i do, i dont want to do something that might put her off jumping because as you said she is going to make a great jumper). I desided to stop and walk baby around to cool her down. I desided to get some help off saddle when i saw her next as she knows baby best. I lunged raven today to give her a brake from her training. I groomed all my horses and set them out into the fields. After i had finished i went to find amanda and livin'wild........................... See the Kids riding board..............................
