I walked into the barn and got my tack out. I grabbed Courage's lead line and halter and went out to the pasture to catch him. He had seen me pull in and was waiting patiently by the gate. I got him out and led him into the barn. I put him in the cross ties and groomed him. I the tacked him up and led him over to a big rock. I made him stand next to it and I mounted him. I took him on a trail ride. Acctually, it was more like exploring since I had never been on the trails at Timeless Farm before. The trail we were on was wide and sunny. After we walked for a bit, the trail forked. I halted Courage and tried to decided which way to go. Courage looked each way and decided he wanted to go to the left. I let him go. The trail was still sunny but it was now narrow. it made a sharp turn and opened up into a meadow, just big enough to ride in. I walked Courage along the preimeter of the meadow, checking for holes and dips. it was a flat meadow. I asked Courage to trot. He stepped out as he went around the meadow. He seemed to like it here. I trotted him each direction before cantering him. He was full of him self. I could barely keep him under control. I made him walk and we walked back to the barn. When we got there, I put Courage in the crossties and grabbed some paper and a pencil. I made a quick map of the trail I was on. I then finished taking care of Courage by mucking out him field. i gave him a treat and put his halter and lead away. While I was in the tack room I got Sparkle and Dutchess's Halters and leads out. I layed Sparkle's Halter and lead on a tack box next to my grooming stuff. i got Dutchess out and put her in the cross ties. I groomed her well and gave her a treat. I then put her back and got Sparkle out. Sparkle was absolutely misirable. You could tell she was soon going to have her foal. She waddled
into the barn and I put her in the crossties. I groomed her and felt her foal move. I offered her a treat but she just nosed it. "Sparkle! Your so miserable that you won't even eat a treat!" I said. She just looked at me like "Get me outa here." I led her back out to her field and let her go.
She wadled over to the corner and smelled the ground. I put my tack away and went home.
