I'm not a programmer, and I've never written a virus. I have written a couple batch files, and they cannot be turned into executables per se. Batch files are simply a series of DOS commands to have other programs run. You must open a text file, type in the commands as you would at the DOS prompt, and then rename the file as *.bat. I cannot answer your questions about writing viruses, because I've never written one.
