No, what I mean is, you have to be willing to accepet that regardless of law, there are going to be people who do not agree with with you, so you cannot use the law to force your presence upon them...it is going to be the only way we can move forward...you need comprimise for true political progress...what I mean is, it is a long hard road...

..do you think because there is a law to protect you, or to force your acceptance that you are going to be and safer or more accepted? This is something that must happen in peoples hearts...you should be free to walk your way and not have you freedoms infinged upon as best as we can provide this to you, but if religion, culture, or out look sets someone against you, they should have the freedom to associate if they like...using the goverment to force your will upon them is limiting there freedom or hapiness...

...likewise, you should not be fired from your job because you are gay, or beaten because your gay, but making any extra special messures under the law then your being covered by the right to work and the normal laws against violence are not going to change anyone hearts against you, they are simply going to harden them...

...back in the 60's, dr. martin luther king jr. took steps to try and have us see as a color blind nation...we have made so much process, yet we have made so little...because as while we no longer see black people as inferior for the most part, many continue to despise that they are gifted with privladge because of their skin color, not equallity, and the social programs we delve out to try and help them...the social engineering and what not...it has merely made things worse for the most part, hardly lifting the blacks up but a pennace, and draging many others down closer to them...

...we have to make a decision of goverments role...we have a two trillion dollar surpluss merely because of a surging economy, and the fact that we have wasted our military dangerously thin as you saw when we started running out of capacity to engadge in such a small deal as Bosnia...there is peace is what I am saying...yet, 35% of the average american's pay check alone, in payroll taxes, and income tax goes to the goverment directly...this is before we consider many taxes like property taxes, commuter taxes, sale tax, so on so on that do not come directly out of the pay check...35% yet, and our schools are failing, the welfare system doesn't work, social security is going to defualt, medicare is going to default, our military is not efficient, our infrastructure is deteriorating, blah, blah, blah, so on so on....should I go on any further? Yet here are times of prosperity when we will not always have such surplussess, and the we are in serious trouble in so many areas...the answer cannot be, well, we will just pump more money into these falling programs, or that we will start up more failing programs alike...I listend to al gore and bill bradely debate in harlem....it was like horse acutioneers...do you now how much it would cost ti do everything they promise...when the surpluss runs out, it woud take over half our pay checks on the average and that is merely again with payroll and income taxes...I don't want handouts from the goverment, particulkarly when they are only worth such as small fraction of what is put into them...there is a township in texas which opted out of social security like 25 years ago, and they make 6 times on their pirvitzed system per retiree that the federal system produces...for example...if the democrats had their way, we would have a state where we gave the majority of our paycheck to the goverment for pittence in return, something many already do...but like wise, if it where the republican way, the handouts would be good, yet primarily to the rich...

...we need a fair way, and the only way is to see less goverment involved in every area of our lives....
