Stables

A sign reads:Stable manager- Miv

The stalls are neatly in a row, with a green paddock just in back. Spare bridles and saddles are on one end of the stable, with water, oats, and grooming tools in a little open closet on the other side. A pitchfork leans against the side of the stable.

The stallion peers at the sorrowed maiden for a long time before emitting a soft snort. Her intolerant news was beginning to carve a mark inside of his mind. Not dead, dead, alive, not alive...the possibilities were the same, and not the same. Not alive, but dead, unless he was alive, and not dead. What if it were both?

Not good... he mutters inwardly. He then looks upon Sarina with his utmost grief and pity, for he knew that the two had known each other for a while. Now they were both...Yeryanless. He, in better words, had lost his master and friend. Sarina had lost her only acquaintance and friend in Kavanagh so to speak. Now what was to be done...

Why...why can't I speak to you? It was obvious he wanted to know the whole story. He did know a little about why and where the chinese trained had gone...about Yolane, and where she was presently hiding. But if Yeryan was in fact, dead, in the way he knew the man could die only...then it was pointless to try and follow. Where?? He demands, stomping his hoof against the dusty floor. What happened? I need to know how he...he left!

He grabs a bucket of cool water and dumps it on the horse, then takes a rag and scrubs off the sweat so that it won't cause sores. He walks the stallion till he cools, then feeds and waters him, gives him another brushing, and leaves the stables.

He walks in bleeding from his chest and gives a look around the room that he wants no one to help him. He sighs as he walks to the stall he fell in love in. "What a place to fall in love in." He sighs and sits down and leans on a stable wall. A tear drops from his eye and he thinks this is the first time I have teared since my past. Thinks I guess I did love Kyna with all my heart but I guess it is over. He then closes his eyes tight while he bleeds from his chest.

He finnaly wakes up with his wounds almost completely healed. He looks around for Kyna and with no luck he does not see her. He sighs as he stands up and walks to the door. He thinks of Kyna and what she did to help him and wonders now what he shall do in return. As he stands there thinking of her he feels the warm feeling in his heart again wondering what it may be. He then walks of to the dock to wait and maybe Kyna will come and join him.

A woman dressed all in black walks into the stables. She looks around and sighs dejectedly, there weren't any horses around. She had loved horses and was hoping to find one here. The woman turns to leave when she suddenly trips over a feeding bucket, and lands in a huge pile of hay. The woman sits there quietly for a minute before breaking out in laughter. "I'm such a clutz! Father always said I'd trip over a blade of grass." The woman's laughter dies to child like giggles as she stands up and tries to pluck the hay out of her long raven black hair. Finally giving up she sits back down on the ground and gets out a brush and combs her hair Man ever since I came to Kavanagh my outlook on everything seems to have taken a turn for the better, she thinks as she attacks a huge snarl on the right side of her head.

He was wet, and he was tires. Rain-soaked, and unaware that he was, in fact, being followed, the expressionless man enters the stable with his horse and his companion -- Jakken. Strangely, he leads the horse with no rope, nor halter or bridle. The stallion quickly limbers along beside him, a similiar look in his eyes to match his masters'. Quietly, they pass the few people without glancing at them, until Yeryan finally halts outside of a rickety, worn-out stall. Sensing his friend's disapproval, the chinese trainer shakes his head, "Restrain your temper, Jakken. This has been your stall forever. It simply looks as if it has been neglected."

Jakken snorts. Riiiight, he mutters inside.

Unlocking tehe latch and gently patting the equine on the shoulder, the trainer then turns away to give him room to enter. Run-down or not, the stall was unusually large, and comfortable. Fresh straw and oats had been placed int their proper places, and hay tossed in a corner to create a helthy bedtime snack. Yeryan make sno comment of this, but shuts the bottom half of the double-paned door. His business here was finished....

Or not...

An uneasy feeling sweeps past him, and almost subconsciously, he places a hand inside of his robe pocket. Always without emotion, his intelligent eyes study the shattered pendant. It had come out all together, in a single piece, yet the broken fragments hung off of the dragon jewel like pieces of hopeless lint. Gently, he places the amulet in his left hand, careful when he closed his hand around it. Moving silently tot he side and sitting on the edge of a hay bale, he then does something unpredicatble. He pulls yet another amulet from his pocket. It was similar. A dragon pendant, gripping a similar shaped jewel. And yet the color of the jewel was different. The shattered one could have been anything...in fact, it could have been every color. But it's second was a perfect, deep blue, glowing from some mysterious depth inside. Appearing rather confused, the man quicky stuffs the second endant into his pokect again and places Ryo's in his other, gently. "Not another...bad omen.."

.she lifts her head, letting the hood drop back from a suprisingly young face.

.her black hair and matching eyes prove her to be from other lands, yet has a sculpted and strong body.

.she holds out her hands to accept a passing breeze as the little fox yips softly.
