  • Eoghan threw himself backwards and freed himself from the staff. While Eoghan was on the ground he quickly (yet strongly)slid his leg towards Aisling ankle making her fall.               • While Aisling was still on the floor. Eoghan put a foot on top of Aislings stomach So she could not get up.                 • correct me if I'm wrong but, did not Aisling say when she fell she rolled to her feet, or something like that?? so, how did you get up before her, step back and then move forward SOO fast that she didn't have time to get up?? I mean, that is humanly, even elfishly impossible. Aside from moving at super superman speeds, you're powerplaying. how did you get your foot on aisling when she didn't say you could??? perhaps if you had worded it " while Aisling was on the floor, Eoghan moved attempting to hold Aisling down on the floor with his foot so that she couldn't get up"? how des that sound?? I was wondering how on earth Eoghan could stand up, jump back, and jump forward again in time to stop her from getting up. To prove the point to myself, a friend and I simulated the kicking and subsequent standing actions. I--acting as Aisling--acutally got to my feet faster than she did (As Eoghan). Both of us took about three seconds to get to our feet, and we halved that time because we aren't trained fighters, and Aisling and Eoghan are. So, it took both of them about one and a half seconds to stand, coming to their feet at almost exactly the same time. Then, Eoghan would have to jump back, as you said he did. So, therefore, there is no reasonable way to execute that last move of yours, as Aisling was already on her feet. (NT) -- OOC Aisling, 10:19:25 08/23/03 Sat

                  • OOC: Pardon me for correcting you again, Eoghan, but I don't believe that last move was possible on your part. Eoghan just wouldn't have had the time to get up, jump back, and jump forward again before Aisling got to her feet. To prove that point to myself, a friend and I simulated Eoghan's kick, Aisling's fall, and the subsequent standings. I--as Aisling--acutally got to my feet a split second before she--as Eoghan--could. It took both of us about three seconds to get to our feet.
