• A small elf maiden walks into the rec. cavern. She noticed someone practicing with a sword. She always liked to watch people practice like that. One day she would be old enough to weild a weapon. • sheathing his sword, Qu takes a step forward then suddenly rolls forward and is on his feet in the split of a second. He has a tanto and a wakazashi in his hands and is fighting an imagianry foe. 3, phoes (ooc fun what to spell it, sorry ppls, having fun) ic moving faster than lightning, Qu fights of is advisaries. Though he wishes that he had a real foe to fight. Someone who actually had a chance of beating him. He always beat his imaginary enemies. With out fail. He knows the flows of the weapons, now he actually needs to put them into really practice. Dancing around, blocking, dodging, thrusting, he fought on. • stopping suddenly Qu turns and looks at the small elf maiden who had been watching him. He had felt her eyes and actually seen her sitting there for a while. walking toward her as spoke "Dia dhuit. Why are you soo attentive in watching me??" adding quickly "I don't mind, but, you've been here for 20 minutes watching me." He smiles at her as he spoke. • Mackai jumped at Qu's sudden speech. She was slightly taken aback but recovered quickly. "I'd like to learn how to wield a weapon some day. My aunt thinks that I'm too young to start. Eagar learns are the easiest to teach, but the hardest to control. Remember that you are never as good as you think. Now, do you want to start with wood or steel?" • Mackai was surprised but she really was eager to learn. OOC: I've had worse power plays than that one. IC: She knew right now that her aunt was occupied and since her younger brother was with her neither of them would know what she was doing. With that thought in mind she was all for it. • "I'm sorry. I knw what it's like to lose your parents at your age. My brother took care of me for as long as I can remember. but... now he's dead, and my sister... well, my adopted sister, we kind of adopted her to our family, my brother and I, and now she's off to find her dragon, even though the council didn't send her on her quest. I just hope she comes back alive and that she doesn't get into too much trouble. But, now, I'm the only one left. And I can't do anything right. I got ... well, anyway, I know how you feel. come find me anytime. I'll be happy to work with you on daggers. here, show me what you know and I'll teach you from there. ok?" • with a warm smile and a joking tone he teases her "Oh, my bad, I thought we were doing daggers, not sword." He winks at her "not quite. try again." he was squating in front of her ever so patiently with a look in his eyes that said 'You can do it, I know you can' as he thought about how much he could teach this little girl and how well she could progress and how much confidence he could give her. He started getting soo much hope in her before he knew her more than 15 minutes that it put Penherst and Q-llynne out of his mind (ooc yay!! you made him happy.
