Now, hold it the same way in your other hand. I'm going to teach you how to fight with your left hand, otherwise known as your off hand. That way, you will have no disadvantage in a fight... except maybe your height" He told her, the last part jokingly. (ooc I hope you don't mind this power play)IC after she shifted hands he speaks up again. " We'll start with defence, ok? If you can't defend yourself, you might as well not start. you'll be injured be fore you can do anything. So, I'll teach you the three basic parrys. Left side parry, right side parry, and upward parry. Left side parry is like this..." he demonstraites to her moving his dagger really slowly with his left hand and pushing away to his left side. "Right side parry..." shows a twisting motion of his torso while bring the dagger across the front of his body and then extending it out in front of his torso which is now turned sideways from normal "upward parry" He shows her one going straight up and one curving with her fist and arm moving across her face while moving up and then both ending with his left arm about 45º out to his left side. He repeats them 2 more times for her and then says: "Ok, now it is your turn to try. It will be awquard at first with your left hand, but it will become easier."
