She was right, and he knew it. But what if something happened again, and he failed her again, except this time, with much more dire consequences? Could Twilight actually deal with two deaths on his head? And then the quote, the one that Siltur would always say just to make him angry, crossed his mind:

'Better to have loved and lost, than to never have loved at all.'

She was right. Twilight sighed at his stupidity, and typical commen sense. He then looked at Crystaline and smiled. "I'll never leave you. Ever. And that's a promise." He leaned in and kissed Crystaline gently, his arms wrapping around her slim figure.
