Subject: PROUD TO BE A BULLDOG!!!!!

When you see the numbers 81', 97', and 98', what does it make you think of? If it means the years the Canton McKinley Bulldogs were at the height of their dominance, you are absolutely, positively, "bulldogsationally" correct, and I'm like heck proud of that tradition! Effective of August 5, 2002, two-a-day practices officially started as the Canton McKinley Bulldogs again look to return to their peak for the first time since the 1998 season, their last moment of state dominance. There are some questions to be answered though: Will the passing game improve this year? Will the running backs garner enough holes to run through? Will the defense show the touch that has made them one of the better teams in Stark County from linemen, to linebackers, to defensive backs? Two-a-days are crucial during these weeks and the ones who are left standing will represent their school and city in front of 7,000 Canton McKinley locals. By the way, I will be at Fawcett and Don Scott Saturday to catch the scoop on the 2002 Runnin' Dawgs, and hopefully if things fall into place the way I want them, the two home scrimmages as well. Bulldog locals must be gleeful about the young adults on the field giving it their all....after all, I learned about the tradition from past graduates and affiliates and that makes me a better Bulldog. So I urge all the Canton McKinley locals to wish these young Bulldogs and coaches and Head Caoch John Miller NOTHING but the BEST OF LUCK as they prep for 2002. Also, good luck to the freshman, junior varsity and reserve teams as well. GOOOOOOOO BULLDOGS!!!!

P.S. Canton McKinley Football Moment: On November 2, 1996, in front of 18,000 at Paul Brown Tiger Stadium, Home of the Massillon Tigers the Canton McKinley Bulldogs stunned state and national power Massillon 21-0. The Tigers came in #1 in the state, #2 in the nation and were soundedly thumped by the Bulldogs......their worst loss ever to their rivals to the east. I think dominating women's skier Kristina Koznick should have been in the Tigers locker room before the game, after all, she is correct: "You have to be doing your best to win."

If I'm this good......I ought to have a tailgate party before a game.....how many people will I attract?
