orientation week seems boring...skipping almost everything!

Hey just wanted to post a message....so here goes.
Men's Open race..... really something huh?? You know what's the greatest thing about it?? Simply rowing with all of you- guys and girls.K..k...i'll end here....but don't forget to train hard for the Nationals....our final hurdle. Remember it's always best to train hard after a competition.Guess i'll leave you with that....
Oh yah..... i'll continue coming here even after Nationals.......as a hero and legend??

heez...we've finished the dragonboats races liaoz... now it is time to face the final but hardest hurdle of all... National Schools Canoeing Championships... let's do it together again... and walk out of kallnag on the 20th of july 2001 as heroes and legends... let's prove to everyone, but most importantly ourselves that we can do it!!! :o)

Ah...finally a msgboard of our own -- Njcanoeists 2000/2001.
Yea...don't really know how the response would be like but I also hope everyone will come here n drop a line or two once in a while...even after we graduate ya!

I'm still living in the moments of yesterday too...never felt so good before...it was like a dream yet it did come true with pain n hardwork...it was a tough fight alright i...n I truly think that both the girls n guys have come a long way...
To the girls...the road wasn't exactly smooth but we've all pulled through...all our fears of losing the title have been released...even tho' delphine, ruoying, jasmine n miaohua had to row for the junrs...we knew u guys cld have helped us win it too if u all were in the boat...u guys have proven it in other boats...so excellent job GirLs!!
To the guys...U all were amazing...simply formidable!(absolutely no flattery involved) n yesh...Mens' Open was The Race man...even tho u all went thru' sO many other races b4 that...it was crucial..it was fierce...but I'm sure it became an unforgettable n glorious fight for all of u...n for us all...U guys have done it man!
It certainly felt great too when both the girls n guys team came together for the mixed boats...
Never will it ever be the same again...n never can the moments be relived...but I'm glad all of us went through it together...that was the LasT dragon boat race...which brought us closer to the peak...but no...of cos our peak isn't reached yet...it's going to come on the 20th of July..we've done it with faith n confidence...we've set our targets n achieved them...I'm sure we can all do it again with the same kind of mindset n passion at the National Schools..!! Relive the moment in ur race n I'm sure all of us will be injected with many more loads of energy !!!

Although it was yesterday when we all felt our moment in time, it felt like it was juz awhile ago i saw our 24 men db cross the finishing line. I believe that besides winning the titles, we fostered closer bonds between all of us. I hope i'm not the only one who can feel that... What we achieved yesterday was not due to sheer luck, but because of our sweat and tears shed during training, because of all the things which we sacrificed. We must not forget the defeat we suffered in SDBA canoeing championships. Let's not let this go over our heads and work hard towards our ultimate goal - National Schools Canoeing Championships!

hey team njc...keep up the good work...but we must remember this is only the beginning. we still have to work hard..and give all we've got in trainings. remember, if we really want to be the best team there was, the best team there is, and the best team there will ever be, we muz continue to dig deep..nuthin comes easy. COME'ON...lets do it..and on the 20th of july...we will fulfill our dream and walk out of kallang as the most passionate n committed team in 'A' Division Canoeing history...:)

haha cannot forget mr nasiman's reactions today, esp after men's open final keep it up!! we just ate the appetiser now 3 weeks to main course .... lets do our best...n come out 20th july as heros n
