Subject: Damn Shoik!!!

Paiseh Paiseh...it's me again...aiyo, this morning I already posted a msg oredi...but now still want to post another one..you all dun be liddat leh...especially those without paper today...how can you all do this to me? Me monologue issit? cannot mar...must be sharing...share your thoughts and ideas leh...S@@...i so sharing...

Just did 5+++ hours of solid revision for Lit...realli never felt so happi doing revision b4 leh...when i was revising for Econs for the past few daes...realli got damn stessed up and like cannot tahan liddat...but today, I decided to switch subject(as I have said so in my earlier msg prior to this one)...revising my favourite subject...the feeling is different altogether...suddenly enjoys revision liaoz...it is the subject lar...discover so many new things when going through Blake's "Songs of Innocence and of Experience", Hardy's "Tess of the D'Urbervilles", Dicken's "Great Expectations" and Chaucer's "The Wife of Bath's Prologue and Tale"...everything go through abit abit at a time..if not will be damn sianz one lor...oso not productive one...

Talking about Blake...allow me to get back to the "didactic purpose" of the poem "A Poison Tree", in case some of you miss out...acherly it is not likely lor, cos' it is so obvious from the first stanza...but i shall put it in another words for you all...it serves to teach us that repression of anger can breed malevolence...So? so next time when you are angry with somebody, make it clear to him/her that you are angry, then a lot of problems can be solved liaoz...okayz? meaningful right? learn sth?

Okie...now let me appeal to all the Lit students of NJCanoeing club to help me clear some doubts...when i ws revising, i got abit confused at some point...so see if you all can be of any help to me lar(to those non-lit students, sorrie...i dun mean to use this msgboard for my own private discussion one...but no choice lar...dun wanna wait till monday...a bit desperate...so bear with me, 'k?)

Okie...here it goes...
1) When I was tracing Tess' movement( since it crucial to do it, cos' it's a picaresque novel), I got abit confused about where the scene of Chpt XXXI takes place? Issit at the Talbothays Diary? Oso, prior to this chapter, where did Angel and Tess go to? Issit London? Pls enlighten me if you know!
2) In chpt 5 of Grt E(x), towards the last part, Pip uses a simile to link the Hulk to the "wicked Noah's Ark"...what is the significance? Me abit blur liaoz...
3) How is "The Chimney Sweeper" and "Night" (both in SofI) related to the rest of the poems found in SofI???

Okie...that's about all...so I'll be expecting some replies b4 monday huh? Dun disappoint me okayz?

Good.

Now let me share something which I've found interesting when revising Lit just now...it is something like a quote from Mrs C...think she is a damn good Lit teacher, always teaching to be aware of things in life...but I really wonder
whether such awareness did more harm than good...

"Love, with the slightest sign of 'price tag' is emotional blackmail"

I shall go back to my Lit revision liaoz...when i discover more new things, I shall post it here to share with you guys...okie? bye bye, tata, adieu...

Till then...
Shi'en
