"That sounds like a goodbye, and that's just silly." She shook her head, she would argue til she was blue in the face on this cause. "You are a part of my family, Lacey, regardless of how you are connected to the rest of them, and I just won't hear of you leaving. Furthermore, this fellow was a gift to you, no strings attatched."

  • Lacey felt the tears burning in her eyes and stuggled to hold them back, trying her hardest not to cry, not even able to look at Eliza as she offered the papers back. Lacey didn;t take them, just shook her head softly, swallowing hard for a moment. "I can't.... I can't come down here every day, it hurts too much... and I can't accept all of this from you... its not right... not anymore. Ryan doesn't want me here... and I can;t stand to see him... especially if he gets together with her." That was what she figured would happen. She was heartbroken and he was probably already planning on taking Hailey out. As much as she hurt now it would hurt twice as much being down here and seeing him every day.
