Lacey listened carefully, watching Eliza as she spoke, sipping slowly at the hot drink which seemed to make her feel a bit better about things. She nodded a little when Eliza said if he went back on it all she'd just think he was doing it to make her feel better. It was true. If Lacey went to him sobbing and begging him to get back with her he would, just to stop her hurting. And half of her wanted to do just that- to hell with what he really wanted.... but the other half of her didn;t want their relationship to be like that. They'd always been honest with each other. She sighed and took a long drink from her coffee. Eliza's advise wasn;t exactly what she wanted to hear- but she knew it was good advise- and advise she should follow. "Time and space." She nodded a little and looked back up to Eliza "Should I think about dating? Or stay available for him when ... if he changes his mind?" She'd hate to miss her chance of getting back the man she loved just because she was dating some other random guy.
